It will not go away \u2014 no matter how long it takes!\u201d<br \/>\nThe ECHR cannot overrule a UK court decision \u2014 however, a verdict in Howells\u2019 favor would call on the UK courts to consider whether its legislation was interpreted in a way that is compatible with the ECHR\u2019s provisions.<br \/>\nIn a separate statement shared with Cointelegraph, Howells said he would file a claim to the ECHR in the \u201ccoming weeks.\u201d<br \/>\nThe court filings follow repeated rejections from the Newport City Council allowing Howells to search through the Docksway landfill \u2014 where Howells\u2019 former partner disposed of a bag containing the hard drive at the site in 2013.<br \/>\nRelated: Burning quantum-vulnerable BTC is the best option \u2014 Jameson Lopp<br \/>\nHowells\u2019 8,000 Bitcoin (BTC) is worth around $660 million at current prices.
