Source: Nansen\u201cFor the main US equity indexes and for BTC, the respective price charts failed to resurface above their 200-day moving averages significantly, while lower-lookback price moving averages are falling,\u201d wrote Nansen in an April 1 research report.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u201cFragile market psychology highlights the necessity of \u201cgood news,\u201d mainly on US growth and on tariffs,\u201d added the report.<br \/>\nRelated: Michael Saylor\u2019s Strategy buys Bitcoin dip with $1.9B purchase<br \/>\nBitcoin needs to hold $82k amid crypto market \u201cwait and see\u201d mode: analyst<br \/>\nInvestors are currently in \u201cwait and see mode\u201d and are hesitant to take on large positions as markets lack direction.<br \/>\nHowever, the Crypto Fear &amp; Greed Index remained above the \u201cextreme fear\u201d mark for a third consecutive session, which suggests a marginal improvement despite continued caution, Stella Zlatareva, dispatch editor at digital asset investment platform Nexo, told Cointelegraph.<br \/>\n\u201cThis reinforces the view that markets are in a wait-and-see mode,\u201d Zlatareva told Cointelegraph, adding:<br \/>\n\u201cBitcoin continues to consolidate within the $82,000 \u2013 $85,000 range after experiencing a period of directional recalibration in Q1.
