The bid will follow others from major technology companies, including Amazon, Oracle, Microsoft, and Rumble, in an attempt to keep the video-sharing app\u2019s services alive for US users.<br \/>\n\u201cOur bid for TikTok isn\u2019t just about changing ownership, it\u2019s about creating a new paradigm where both creators and their communities benefit directly from the value they generate,\u201d Zoop co-founder RJ Phillips reportedly said.<br \/>\nIn 2024, the US Congress passed, and former President Joe Biden signed a bill into law that could potentially ban TikTok if the firm\u2019s operations weren\u2019t separated from its Chinese parent company, ByteDance. The initial deadline for the sale of the company under the law was Jan. 19.
