Just over a week into the job, Sacks said he is \u201cconfident in the US, but we can\u2019t be complacent.\u201d<br \/>\nLlama 4 \u201cbest in their class for multimodality,\u201d says Meta<br \/>\nSack\u2019s latest comment came after Meta\u2019s AI division said in an X post on the same day that it is introducing the fourth generation of its Llama models, Llama 4 Scout and Llama 4 Maverick.<br \/>\nSource: David Sacks\u201cOur most advanced models yet and the best in their class for multimodality,\u201d Meta said.<br \/>\nMeta said its Llama 4 Scout model has 17 billion active parameters and uses 16 experts.\u00a0<br \/>\nThe company claims it outperforms rival large language models \u2014 Gemma 3, Gemini 2.0 Flash-lite, and Mistral 3.1 \u2014 \u201cacross a broad range of widely accepted benchmarks.\u201d<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Llama 4 Maverick also has 17 billion active parameters but is configured with 128 experts.
