Its first-mover advantage in the AI race allowed it to raise $40 billion at a $300 billion valuation in a funding deal that was spearheaded by SoftBank Group.<br \/>\nChatGPT has 400 million weekly active users as of February 2025 \u2014 up from 50 million at the beginning of 2023.
