Source: CointelegraphMiglino, who hosted Cointelegraph at a DNA House event during the Consensus conference in Toronto, Canada, was particularly excited about the firm\u2019s AI compute fund.<br \/>\n\u201cThe biggest thing that we\u2019re working on in the whole ecosystem is our AI compute fund, where we\u2019ve been entrenched into the TAO ecosystem,\u201d said Miglino, referring to Bittensor, a decentralized, open-source machine learning network.<br \/>\nBittensor\u2019s backers say the network stands out for its subnets, which enable specialized, incentive-based marketplaces built around a specific AI or machine learning use case.\u00a0<br \/>\nDNA Fund is \u201cactively mining on different subnets,\u201d having committed roughly $50 million worth of compute to the TAO ecosystem, Miglino said.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u201cWe\u2019re willing and ready to talk to anybody that wants to launch inside that ecosystem,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nA snapshot of Bittensor subnets. Source: TaostatsRelated: The next frontier for crypto will be decentralizing AI<br \/>\n\u2018Decentralized AI is consuming everything we\u2019re doing\u2019<br \/>\nDecentralized AI \u2014 the framework for developing and deploying artificial intelligence systems across a distributed network rather than a centralized authority \u2014 is currently the main focus at DNA House, Miglino said.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s \u201cconsuming everything we\u2019re doing,\u201d he said.\u00a0<br \/>\nFor Miglino, this paradigm has the opportunity to be \u201cbigger than anything that\u2019s ever existed [&#8230;] I think it has the opportunity to be bigger than Bitcoin.\u201d<br \/>\nWhile that may appear as a herculean task, given Bitcoin\u2019s (BTC) $2.1 trillion market cap and status as the first successful decentralized monetary system of the information age, technologists broadly agree that AI will profoundly reshape human society.<br \/>\nThe AI takeover will become more apparent by the 2030s, when the technology is projected to become the world\u2019s valuable tech sector. You don\u2019t need to go out and raise a ton of money from a bunch of VCs.\u201d<br \/>\nThe idea that AI\u2019s future will be decentralized is far from fringe.
