She was 51.<\/p>\n<p>Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/users\/realDonaldTrump\/statuses\/109662467994681545\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced Hardaway\u2019s death on Truth Social<\/a> Monday night, with the duo&#8217;s social media accounts later confirming the news. The former president said Hardaway passed away at her home in North Carolina and called the death \u201creally bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond\u2019s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social, the social media app he helped found.<\/p>\n<p>Diamond and Silk&#8217;s accounts <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DiamondandSilk\/status\/1612636233196355586?s=20&amp;t=w-EYctd635RWFxXm_urgSw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confirmed Hardaway\u2019s death<\/a> shortly after Trump\u2019s post, tweeting that \u201cThe World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity!\u201d The post also included a link asking for contributions toward \u201cPreserving Diamond\u2019s Legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hardaway\u2019s cause of death is unclear.<\/p>\n<p>The Diamond and Silk duo, a pair of sister entertainers who gained notoriety for their political comments on their YouTube page, have been some of Trump\u2019s most vocal supporters since his 2016 campaign for president. Trump embraced the duo \u2014 longtime Democrats who switched parties to support him in his presidential campaign \u2014 and invited them to his inauguration in 2017 and later to meet with him at the White House.<\/p>\n<p>Diamond and Silk\u2019s rise in MAGA world eventually led to contributor roles for the pair at Fox News, but the network cut ties with them in 2020 after they began peddling conspiracies on-air about Covid-19.
