Source: Tech – South China Morning PostChina unveiled its five-year development plan for the information and communications industries for the years 2026 through to 2030. The blueprint, released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Monday, lays out 13 key targets as part of a broader revamp of the sector by 2035, when the country is expected to “basically achieve socialist modernisation”. It includes plans to grow the sector’s revenues to 4.1 trillion yuan (US$610 billion).
